While reminiscing with our general music director Andrea Sanguineti about how wonderful the experience had been to collaborate with the NLP on Prokofiev’s
“Romeo and Juliet”, he suggested to us to have a go at Stravinsky’s “The Rite of Spring” together. We took up the gauntlet and created an original choreographic interpretation to this monumental music, in which, unusually, not a young girl is chosen as a sacrificial victim, but instead a young couple.
