We have poured many things into "Black, No Sugar": questions, assertions, desires, ravings. But the real piece takes place in you, the viewer. What you experience - not what we intended - is the only thing that counts in the course of the performance.

In "Black, No Sugar," we decided to use no text, no video, and no acting precisely because we are fascinated by the question of what kind of content emerges in you, the viewer, when we dispense with more concretely indicative media in the piece.

We believe that the human body, when it moves, can convey content that cannot be expressed through text, video or acting.
