Sara was born in Bari, in the south of Italy. She began studying classical dance and modern dance techniques at a young age and joined the Junior Dance Company Bari after discovering contemporary dance.
In 2016, she studied at the Zurich University of the Arts in the bachelor's programme Contemporary Dance, where she danced pieces by Itzik Galili, Barak Marshall and Ihsan Rustem, among others. There she also had the opportunity to perform at the Steps Festival in Switzerland.
In 2018 Sara joined the imPerfect Dancers Company in Pisa, where she danced choreographies by Walter Matteini and Ina Broeckx and toured with the company in Europe, the US and South America.
Sara has now been a permanent ensemble member of the wee dance company of the Gerhart-Hauptmann-Theater Görlitz-Zittau since 2022.
