Alexandre May

Alexandre May was born in 1994 in Cannes/France.

He started his professional training at the Rosella Hightower Superior Dance School of Cannes/Mougins before specializing in contemporary dance at the "Codarts School of Arts" in Rotterdam, where he graduated in June 2017.

During his studies he worked on several choreographic projects together with Amos Ben Tal, Joeri Dubbe, Kenzo Kusuda, Keren Rosenberg and Julie Magneville. As an artist, Alexandre wants to plant seeds in people's "body-souls" (body-minds) so that these seeds blossom and knowledge and love emerge. He believes in love as a force and in the love that comes from knowledge.

Since August 2017 Alexandre May is a permanent member of the dance company of the GHT Görlitz-Zittau/wee dance company.
