Sommer Ulrickson



Cofounder of the wee dance company. Received a "BA in Theater Arts" at the U.C. Santa Cruz University. Was a member of the award winning theater company The Fifth Floor in San Francisco. In 1996 she founded the dance-theater group Torque, for which she choreographed several pieces. In the Fall of 1998 she came with a scholarship to Berlin and has been working there ever since, as a freelancer choreographing original pieces, as a guest dancer and assistant at Johann Kresnik's dance company at the Volksbühne, as company teacher for Sasha Waltz and Thomas Ostermeier at the Schaubühne.
