Tina McErvale



trained at the Victorian College of the Arts and the Australian Ballet School in Melbourne. After completing her dance studies she worked with Sydney's physical theatre company "legs on the wall" that led her to collaborate with director Brendan Shelper, creating their duo work "Bumping Heads" for Melbourne's Nextwave Festival. Bumping Heads has since toured Ireland, Germany and a return season in Australia. During her time working and living in Europe, Tina has worked with various independent choreographers and dance companies utilizing her diverse skills and passion for dance and theatre. Highlights involve working with the performance company De La Guarda from Argentina, CIE Felix Ruckert, wee dance company from Berlin and De De Dance from Israel. She also toured Italy, Portugal and Germany with Berlins Phase 7 Performing Arts Company. Tina has recently completed a full season contract with Ms Schrittmacher, Oldenburgisches Staatstheater, with director Martin Stiefermann, later in Copenhagen performing Nikolaj Cederholms evolution show, "Verdenhistorian".
