"We all err, only each one errs differently."
Georg Christoph Lichtenberg (1742-1799)
Chaos theory was at the beginning of the research - originally the piece was to be called "Butterfly Effect". Then, during the choreographic work, the choreographers soon realized, that this title didn't really fit anymore, because the human being, not physics, should be in the center. The human being creates systems in apparent chaos, it is capable of influencing, destroying or creating the whole. It is the defect in the theory.

"If a pea is shot into the sea at Helvoet, if the sea were my brain, I would probably feel the effect on the Chinese coast."
G. C. Lichtenberg

audience's responses:
Jean Severin, Speaker of the Bundes- und Landesmusikakademie Rheinsberg:
"...much energy, many good ideas – well put into practise –... I was thrilled! One should become a patron to give out money for this. ... Thanks to productions like the butterfly defect one can rest assured, that a cultural future indeed exists – and the up-and-coming artistic generation seems to be well cared for... Quite peculiar – last Saturday I went to watch it again. Still delighted. I hope the media appreciated this event." read the original email (with the writer's kind permission)
